This home is totally wheelchair accessible. The Universal Design Living Laboratory is the top rated universal design home in North America earning three national certifications. It received a Gold rating on the National Green Building Standards certification program from the National Association of Home Builders for the green building components.
Tours can be scheduled by appointment for groups of 35-50 people at a fee of $15 per person. (A discounted fee of $10 per person applies to students, middle school through college). To enhance the experience, the number of visitors on each tour is limited and interior photography is permitted.
Tours average 1.5 hours and are lead by the general contractors/builders and homeowners, Rosemarie Rossetti, Ph.D. and Mark Leder. As an added feature of the tour, they will be available to answer your questions and point out highlights. You will have full access to the home and beautifully landscaped garden. Tours of this extraordinary model of excellence home are based on real-life research and firsthand experience. The tour guides will review what works, what sells, and where the challenges are. Each tour is customized based upon the interests of the group.
Continuing education credit for touring this exclusive home may be available through professional organizations. This tour program does address health, safety and welfare issues.
