COLUMBUS, OH – February 28, 2010 – Rosemarie Rossetti Ph.D., project leader of the Universal Design Living Laboratory (UDLL), a national demonstration home of the future, will teach a course entitled “Designing Sustainable Homes that Will Make Life Easier” in conjunction with Design Arts Seminars, Inc. The course is a fusion of the latest in universal design features and products, as well as green building techniques and green products.
“I designed my new program as a custom course for architects and interior designers across the country,” states Rossetti. “I am eager to begin teaching the architects and interior designers and will utilize the UDLL as the framework and case study for this course.”
Through Rossetti’s course, participants will learn the steps necessary to develop a timeless universal design and high performance, energy efficient home. Courses are now being offered at the following locations:

Rosemarie Rossetti, Ph.D. is a powerful speaker whose presentations help design professionals integrate universal design and "green" building features into their projects. Rosemarie was a catalyst in building the Universal Design Living Laboratory, a national demonstration home and garden in Columbus, Ohio to showcase universal design and "green" building practices. Since March 2006, her accessible housing column is published in Action Magazine, a national publication of the United Spinal Association.
